SSPD 47th Annual Meeting 2019

21 - 23 August 2019 | Åland, Finland

Welcome to SSPD 2019

- the 47th Annual Meeting of the Scandinavian Society for Prosthetic Dentistry

21 - 23 August, 2019, Mariehamn, Åland, Finland

We are delighted to invite you to the 47th annual meeting of Scandinavian Society for Prosthetic Dentistry (SSPD) to be held in Mariehamn, the Åland Islands, on 21–23 August 2019. Mariehamn is the capital of Åland islands right in the heart of the Finnish archipelago. Sailors throughout history have known Mariehamn and it certainly provides a fascinating atmosphere also for a scientific meeting.

We anticipate about 150 scientists working on restorative dentistry and fixed prosthodontics to participate from the Nordic Countries and around Europe.

The two-day programme will focus on the longevity of non-metallic solutions in prosthodontics under the theme: “Non-metallic restorations in prosthodontics – will the boom explode?” Keynote lectures will cover many aspects of prosthetic treatments perhaps with a critical touch to the non-metallic era of prosthodontics.
